STRONGER BONES & TEETH

Supplements for Stronger Bones and Teeth in a Soft gel Capsule

Oral health and stronger bones for life in NutraBod

Strong bones play significant roles in your body. They anchor muscles that provide body structure. They also translate to good oral health through strong healthy teeth. Though the health of our bones relies on a steady stream of vitamins and minerals through the food we eat, we can also get them in the form of food supplements.

Nutrabod has sourced ingredients from nature with Virgin Coconut Oil packed with powerful antioxidants. All of these help build stronger bones, healthier teeth, and more!

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO)

Among the many powerful properties of VCO is its ability to fight bacterial infections. It can fight bacteria in our mouth like Streptococcus mutans. These harmful bacteria can cause dental decay, plaque, and gum disease.

Thankfully, coconut oil comes with lauric acid, which has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

Research and animal testing prove that the antioxidant properties of VCO can neutralize free radicals in the body. A study using rat subjects showed that the bone structure and volume of the rodents increased after 6 weeks of having VCO in their diet.

Ginseng

Meanwhile, ginseng has many active ingredients led by ginseng saponins or ginsenosides. Ginsenosides have been proven to have antioxidant, anticancer, and antidiabetic properties. Moreover, they come with anti-adipocyte properties and also enhance sexual enhancing effects.

Studies reveal that ginsenosides are beneficial in the treatment of osteoporosis, a disorder wherein bones become very fragile. Additionally, ginsenosides may also increase the growth of bone marrow cells.

Curcumin

Another key supplement for stronger bones and teeth is Curcumin. Interestingly, Curcumin is the active ingredient found in Turmeric. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties making it useful for oral care.

Certain studies proved the efficacy of turmeric as a mouthwash. A study ran for 21 days with the participants using the turmeric. They divided that participants into 2 groups, with the first one using a regular mouthwash while the second one swishing turmeric for 30 seconds after brushing.

The results showed that the turmeric solution had the same active ingredients as the mouthwash. This means it can be used as a teeth whitener and dental pain remedy, among others.

Moreover, Curcumin can also help protect bone health and cartilage from degradation. Curcumin acts on enzymes and proteins to prevent cell death on bones and cartilage. Additionally, it helps in regenerating the cartilage of patients suffering from osteoarthritis.

Astaxanthin

Another promising supplement that contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties is Astaxanthin. It can help neutralize free radicals that damage your cells including the ones in your bones.

Chronic inflammation of bones would eventually lead to osteoporosis because of bone density loss. A study on rats showed Astaxanthin promoting bone health. The supplement helped reduce inflammation and aided bone growth and mass.

Resveratrol

Last but not least is Resveratrol. Like the other potent supplements we discussed earlier, it features anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties for oral health. According to a Hongkong study, participants experienced a decrease in bacterial levels. After 24 hours, viable cells were no longer observed.

Moreover, Resveratrol protects bones stimulates bone growth. This prevents the death of bone cells and the degradation of your cartilage. A study done in postmenopausal women resulted in an improvement in their bone mineral density (BMD) in the lumbar spine and neck of the femur.

And you know what’s great about all of this? You can find all these supplements in our NutraBod products!
